Tonight marked the fifth game between the Boston Celtics and the Washington Wizards in their playoff series.  These two teams cannot wait for this series to be done and over with as it has been quite personal on both sides, including ejections, suspensions and fines.  Game 1 would be a victory for the Boston Celtics as they defeat the Wizards with a 123-111 score.  Isaiah Thomas would score thirty-three points, pull down one rebound and dish off nine assists.  Bradley Beal would finish with twenty-seven points, one rebound and four assists.  The Celtics would also hand the Wizards an overtime loss as they pull away with a 129 to 119 score in Game 2.  In that game, Isaiah Thomas would chalk up a career-high fifty-three points, along with four rebounds and four assists.  John Wall would settle for forty points, three rebounds and thirteen assists.  The Wizards would bounce back in Game 3 as they hand the Boston team a 116-89 blowout loss.  John Wall would end up with twenty-four points, one rebound and eight assists.  Al Horford would score sixteen points, pull down two rebounds and give out three assists.  Washington would also win the last game as they defeat the Celtics, 121 to 102.  In that game, Bradley Beal finished with twenty-nine points and four rebounds.  Isaiah Thomas would settle for nineteen points, one rebound and five assists.  Each team would look to take a 3-2 lead in the series tonight as they face off in the TD Garden.

The game would start off right for the home team as the Celtics shot sixty-five percent from the field as a team, limiting the Wizards to thirty-five percent.  Avery Bradley would get hot for fourteen points, collecting six of them from behind the arc.  He would shoot seventy-five percent while pulling down three rebounds in the process.  Four-time All-Star, Al Horford, would shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field as he gets rewarded with five points.  He would also knock down a three-pointer while doing so.  Jae Crowder would only to be limited to four points but he would jump up to pull down four defensive rebounds.  As for the Nation’s Capital’s team, Bradley Beal would shoot thirty-three percent from the field, earning himself six points.  Otto Porter Jr. would play for the entire quarter, only to be held to four points.  Markieff Morris, Marcin Gortat and John Wall would each be limited to two points as the Boston Celtics ended the first quarter with a 33-21 lead.  Things would not get easier for the Wizards as Bradley would continue to put on a scoring display, shooting eighty percent from the field while collecting eleven points in return.  He would knock down two three-pointers in the process while Crowder would earn himself ten points, gathering six of them from beyond the arc.  Horford would shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field, putting up six points as a result.  On the other end of the court, Wall would try to keep his Wizards team in it as he throws up twelve points, hitting a three-pointer while doing so.  He would also pull down three rebounds but it was the home team that walked into halftime with a commanding 67-51 advantage.

Things would not get any easier for the Wizards as Horford would come out of the locker room to put up eight points, six of them coming from behind the three-point line.  Isaiah Thomas would contribute with five points as he shot sixty-seven percent from the field.  He would knock down a three-pointer in the process as Jae Crowder, Amir Johnson and Avery Bradley would each be limited to four points in the quarter.  Markieff Morris would try to bring his Wizards team back in it as he throws up seven points including one three-pointer.  Porter Jr. and Beal would each be limited to six points as they both would shoot fifty percent from the field.  Former Pacers player, Ian Mahinmi, would come off the bench to knock down three free-throws as John Wall would be held scoreless in the nine minutes that he played.  Gortat would collect two points, along with three rebounds but it was the Boston team that would walk into the last quarter with a 93-76 lead.  The Celtics would finish things off in the last period as Marcus Smart would come off the bench to chalk up eight points which would contain two three-pointers.  He would also crash the boards for four defensive rebounds as Thomas himself would earn eight points, including one three-pointer.  Isaiah Thomas would gather up three rebounds and two assists to add to his stat sheet total, as well.  On the other end of the court, Wall would try his best to bring the Wizards back as he would chalk up seven points, shooting a perfect one-hundred percent from the field.  He would collect three of those points from beyond the arc as Kelly Oubre Jr. would come off the bench to shoot forty-three percent from the field.  He would also earn seven points, which would hold one three-pointer, but it was the Boston Celtics that defeated the Washington Wizards with a 123-101 blowout, taking a 3-2 lead in the series.  Avery Bradley would finish with twenty-nine points (his new Playoff career-high), six rebounds and three assists.  John Wall finished with twenty-one points, four rebounds and four assists.

The D.C. team would go a huge 42 to 20 run in the third quarter as John Wall would add thirteen more points to his scoring total.  Beal would chalk up eleven points, which would contain one three-pointer.  Former Phoenix Suns power forward, Markieff Morris, would put up ten points as he shoots a perfect one-hundred percent from the field.  He would earn six of those points from behind the arc and the other four from the free-throw line.  Wall would dish off five assists and the crash the board for two defensive rebounds.  Bradley Beal would grab three defensive rebounds while Morris would pull down four rebounds, along with four assists.  As for the other team, Marcus Smart would knock down a three-pointer, along with three free-throws to earn himself six points.  Amir Johnson would hit a three-pointer and two free-throws but it was the Washington Wizards who walk into the last quarter with a threatening 90-68 advantage.  The Celtics would try to cut into the huge deficit as Terry Rozier comes off the bench to go off for thirteen points.  He would also grab five rebounds but it was the Wizards who would finish things off as Bojan Bogdanovic comes off the bench to shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field, earning himself eleven points.  He would knock down a three-pointer in the process as the Wizards defeat the Boston Celtics, 121-102, tying the series up at 2-2.  Bradley Beal would finish the game with twenty-nine points and four rebounds.  Isaiah Thomas finished with nineteen points, one rebound and five assists.

Last night marked the second game between the Washington Wizards and the Boston Celtics in their playoff series.  These two teams hold a certain dislike for each other as the series continues to progress.  The number-one seed, Boston Celtics, would defeat the Washington Wizards with a 123 to 111 score.  In that game, Isaiah Thomas scored thirty-three points, pulled down one rebound and threw out nine assists.  Bradley Beal finished with twenty-seven points, one rebound and four assists.  The Wizards looked to bounce back and tie the series up last night in Boston.

The game would off right for the visiting team as John Wall lit the floor up with nineteen points, collecting six of them from behind the three-point line.  Markieff Morris would also contribute as he shoots a perfect one-hundred percent from the field, earning himself ten points.  He would connect for a three-pointer while doing so.  Former 76ers player, Jason Smith, would come off the bench to knock down two three-pointers to get himself six points.  On the other end of the court, Isaiah Thomas would go off for fifteen points which would include two three-pointers.  Kelly Olynyk would come off the bench to put up five points, including one three-pointer but it was the Wizards who end the first quarter with a huge 42-29 advantage.  Things would start to look bright for the Boston team as they spark a 35 to 25 run.  During that run, Al Horford would throw up seven points which held one three-pointer.  He would shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field while Terry Rozier would come off the bench to score seven of his own points.  Rozier would knock down a three-pointer while doing so.  Marcus Smart would also come off the bench to put up six points while shooting a perfect one-hundred percent from the field.  Thomas would play for seven minutes, only to be held to five points.  As for the Nation’s Capital’s team, Marcin Gortat would chalk up seven points while he shot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field.  Kelly Oubre Jr. would come off the bench to earn five points which contained one three-pointer as the Wizards went into halftime with a 67-64 lead.

Four time All-Star, John Wall, would out of the locker room to go off for twelve points, which would include one three-pointer.  He would shoot sixty-three percent from the field while Otto Porter Jr. would contribute with six points and four rebounds.  Bradley Beal would only shoot twenty-five percent from the field, settling for two points.  Jae Crowder would try to keep the Celtics in it as he drops six points, shooting fifty percent from the field.  Isaiah Thomas would settle for only four points as the Washington Wizards enter the fourth quarter with a 89-84 lead.  In the fourth quarter, Isaiah Thomas would get extremely hot for twenty points, collecting nine of those points from behind the arc.  He would shoot fifty-eight percent while Avery Bradley knocks down a three-pointer to help out.  Rozier would come off the bench to contribute as he knocks down a three-pointer, as well.  On the other team, Bradley Beal would put up eight points to keep the Wizards in it.  With a minute and four seconds left, the game would be tied at 110 a piece.  John Wall would make one of two free-throws to give his team an one-point lead.  The Celtics would regain the lead as Isaiah Thomas connects for a 19-foot jump shot.  Porter Jr. would respond with a 24-foot three-pointer, taking a 114-112 lead.  With fourteen seconds left, Isaiah Thomas would get fouled by Gortat as he attempts to connect for a shot.  Thomas would go to the charity stripe to knock down both free-throws.  After a Wizards timeout, Beal would attempt a 15-foot jump shot but misses and the game would go into overtime.
