Last night marked the sixth game between the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs in their playoff series. Game 1 would be a victory for the Houston Rockets as they hand the Spurs a 126 to 99 blowout loss. In that game, Trevor Ariza finished with twenty-three points, four rebounds and two assists. Kawhi Leonard would score twenty-one points, pull down eleven rebounds and dish off six assists. The Spurs would bounce back in the second game as they hand the Rockets a blowout of their own, 121-96. Kawhi Leonard would finish with thirty-four points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Ryan Anderson would settle for eighteen points, eight rebounds and one assist. The Spurs would also go on to win Game 3, pulling away with a 103 to 92 score. In that game, LaMarcus Aldridge would chalk up twenty-six points, six rebounds and two assists. Kawhi Leonard would also put up twenty-six points, along with ten rebounds and seven assists. James Harden ended up with forty-three points, two rebounds and five assists. The Rockets would come back as they defeat the Spurs in Game 4, 125-104. James Harden scored twenty-eight points, pulled down five rebounds and threw out twelve assists. Jonathon Simmons would finish with seventeen points, four rebounds and one assist. The San Antonio Spurs would pull away in the last game with an overtime win, 110 to 107. Kawhi Leonard would put up twenty-two points, fifteen rebounds and four assists. James Harden would settle for thirty-three points, ten rebounds and ten assists. The Houston Rockets looked to survive another game as they faced the Spurs last night in the Toyota Center.
The game would start off right for the visiting team as the Spurs shot fifty-four percent from the field as a team, limiting the Rockets to forty-four percent. LaMarcus Aldridge would chalk up ten points as he crashed the boards for three defensive rebounds. Jonathon Simmons would contribute with seven points, three of them coming from beyond the arc. Danny Green and Pau Gasol would each be limited to four points as both of them shoot sixty-seven percent from the field. As for the Rockets, Clint Capela would chalk up nine points as he shot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field. Sam Dekker would come off the bench to knock down two three-pointers, giving him six points. James Harden would play for ten minutes, only to be held at two points as the Spurs end the first quarter with a 31 to 24 lead. Things would not get any easier for the home team as the San Antonio team would spark a huge 30-18 run in the second quarter. During that run, Patty Mills would throw up eight points which would include two three-pointers. Both Aldridge and Simmons would drop six points as Aldridge would gather up four rebounds to go along with his performance. Gasol would collect only two points in the quarter but he would jump up to grab three defensive rebounds. Trevor Ariza would try to bring his Rockets team back in it as he scores six points, all coming from behind the arc. Capela would shoot fifty percent from the field while collecting four points, along with four rebounds. Harden would be held to only a three-pointer as the Spurs walk into halftime with a commanding 61-42 advantage.

He would earn six of those from beyond the arc while collecting the other two from the free-throw line. James Harden would try to heat up as he knocks down one three-pointer and two free throws. Former 76ers player, Lou Williams, would come off the bench to shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field to earn four points. Patrick Beverley would be held scoreless throughout the quarter as the Spurs walk into the fourth period with a 87-64 lead. The San Antonio Spurs would close things out in the last twelve minutes as they shoot forty-eight percent from the field as a team, limiting the home team to only fifteen percent. Rookie Dejounte Murray would gather up seven more points as he shot sixty percent from the field. He would also crash the boards for four defensive rebounds. Former Trail Blazers player, LaMarcus Aldridge, would shoot a perfect one-hundred percent from the field as he gets rewarded with six points. As for the Houston team, Eric Gordon would knock down a three-pointer, as well as bench player, Bobby Brown. James Harden would be held scoreless in the fourth quarter as the San Antonio Spurs hand the Houston Rockets a 114-75 blowout loss, winning the series, 4-2.
